Electronic Control Unit
The Electronic Control Unit, also known as ECU (Electrical Control Unit), is the core of the mechatronics system. It is responsible for collecting, storing, calculating, and analyzing detection signals from various sensors and external input commands. Based on the information processing results, it issues corresponding instructions at a certain level and rhythm to control the entire system purposefully.
Actuator
The function of the actuator is to drive the movement of mechanical parts according to the instructions of the electronic control unit. Actuators are moving parts, usually employing electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic drives.
